We set out a year ago with a desire to answer a simple question: How can we stylishly and comfortably put two people on a bike made for one? After tirelessly turning brainstorms into blueprints, we built our first prototype of the Companion Bike Seat – putting the prototype to the test with tandem riders of all shapes and sizes, we had finally proven we could do it – at least for one bike.

We then built a couple more, adding some features and reworking our designs to fit on several different types of bikes, and with an official line of different prototypes in hand, brought our Companion Bike Seats to a public audience for the first time.
